Learn to Knit in Seattle

You can learn to knit or crochet with my help. Individual or group instruction. $14/hr. Introduction sessions are usually 2 hours.

Lisa Chan has 25 years experience knitting and creating fiber crafts.

I can walk you through a skill-level appropriate project  from cast-on to bind off.

General Lesson Ideas

• Cast-on, knit, purl, bind-off
• Reading patterns, navigating and using reference materials
• Finishing, tucking in all those loose ends
• Trouble shooting, picking up dropped stitches, life-lines, using stitch markers
• Hats
• Socks, turning a heel, cuff down or toe up?
• Lace, pretty patterns
• Colorwork

You can bring your own supplies, or I can choose and provide them for you (at cost).
