Gripping Yarn is a small business located in Seattle, WA and owned and operated by Fiber Enthusiast Extraordinaire: Lisa Chan.

Lisa creates wood and mixed media handcrafts related to fiber arts and teaches
knitting, crochet, spindling/hand spinning, and needle felting.

Lisa is also a long-time thriver through the chronic disease of Ulcerative Colitis. Teaching and crafting objects for sale allows her to attend to her condition while working in a necessarily relaxed environment.
